WHAT IS REBOUND WITH ROVERS?

Rebound with Rovers is an award-winning, free mental health football programme delivered by the Bristol Rovers Community Trust. It supports adults (18+) experiencing depression, anxiety, or other mental health challenges. The programme provides a safe, welcoming environment for physical activity and social connection, helping to improve mental wellbeing through football.

THE SESSION STRUCTURE

Rebound with Rovers sessions consist of a fun, hour-long football activity, followed by a confidential ‘check-in’. During this time, participants can share any concerns or discuss their progress with a fully qualified football coach and trained mental health first aider.

These sessions begin at 10:00am with a check-in. This is a mixed group, allowing both men and women to take part in football together following the check-in. After the session, participants can enjoy refreshments and drinks during a relaxed check-out.

Location: Lockleaze Sport Centre, BS7 9XF
