Now Recruiting For a Community Coach: Primary School Sport Specialist (Full Time)

Bristol Rovers Community Trust is seeking to employ a dynamic individual who will deliver on our primary school sport and PE programmes.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality delivery of our primary school sport and PE provision, as well as other community programmes. The successful candidate will need to be able to deliver a range of PE lessons and curriculum based classroom learning to young people, who are of varying ability, predominately in KS2.  Our Premier League Primary Stars programme and the EFL Move and Learn project will be key areas of responsibly of the successful candidate. The role will involve forming partnerships with local schools and other key stakeholders with the aim of increasing the physical ability, health and wellbeing of participants through education & participation.

We are seeking someone who is knowledgeable and passionate about the workings of charities, football and sport.  They will need to excel in the areas of school PE and classroom delivery and be able to engage with a wide range of people. Experience of mentoring and upskilling others, including colleagues and school teachers in PE delivery will be highly desirable in this role.

 

This isn’t a 9:00am-5:00pm job, so commitment, passion and a love of knowing that you will be making a difference to people in the community is going to be vital to your success within this role. Job Title: Community Coach: Primary School Sport Specialist

 

Report to: CEO of the Trust, Community Manager

 

Responsible for: Delivery of primary school sport and PE

 

Location: Based at The Memorial Stadium with additional travel to various other locations in Bristol and South Gloucestershire

 

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week. The role requires flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required

 

Contract: Full time starting August 2021: Initially a 1 year contract with the view to make the position permanent

 

Job Purpose: To teach primary PE and school sport and deliver classroom based education for children of all abilities in a primary school setting

 

Remuneration: Salary dependant on experience, £17,000-£21,000 per annum

 

Closing Date: Wednesday 30th June 2021

Stage one – Practical Interview Monday 5th July 2021

Now Recruiting For a Fundraising Events and Activities Co-Ordinator (Part Time)

Bristol Rovers Community Trust is seeking to employ a dynamic individual who will lead and shape the Trusts fundraising activities.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and shaping the Trust’s fundraising events and activities, in order to grow our unrestricted income. The role will involve identifying, organising and running fundraising events / activities in line with the Trusts vision, in keeping with current and emerging fundraising trends. The role will require working with key members of staff, such as the Trusts Media Manager, to co-ordinate a fundraising events calendar to maximise income generation. It will be vital to utilise the clubs fan base and maximise their engagement in our fundraising activities and build strong positive relationships with our beneficiaries. In addition, engaging new members of the community in our fundraising efforts will be a key area of growth. Income generation targets will need to be achieved within agreed timescales and management of fundraising budget will be essential to this roles success.

 

We are seeking someone who is knowledgeable and passionate about the workings of charities, football and sport.  They will need to excel in the areas of fundraising and event management and be able to engage with a wide range of people.

 

This role may require flexible working hours to meet the agreed targets of the position. Job Title: Fundraising Events and Activities Co-Ordinator

 

Report to: CEO of the Trust, Community Manager

 

Responsible for: Organising fundraising events on behalf of the Trust

 

Location: Based at The Memorial Stadium with additional travel to various other locations in Bristol and South Gloucestershire

 

Hours of Work: 15 hours per week. The role can have flexible working times to be discussed at interview

 

Contract: Part time starting September 2021: Initially a 1 year contract with the view to make the position permanent and an increase of hours dependant of the success of the role

 

Job Purpose: To organise fundraising events and activities, on behalf of the Trust, that will increase unrestricted funds for the charity

 

Remuneration: £19,000 - £22,000 per annum (pro rata) based on a 37.5 hour working week

This role is initially for 15 hours per week

 

Closing Date: Monday 12th July 2021

 

Interviews: Tuesday 20th July 2021
