Bristol Rovers to host a 'Warm Hub' at The Memorial Stadium

To help tackle the cost-of-living challenges that members of our community may be experiencing, Bristol Rovers and Bristol Rovers Community Trust are delighted to be working in partnership with the Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust to host a 'Warm Hub' at The Memorial Stadium every Tuesday afternoon.

The 'Warm Hub' at The Memorial Stadium will be a welcoming and safe place for members of the community to access free WIFI, hot drinks, soup and a place to socialise with people from within the community. The Hub will be accessible every Tuesday afternoon from 6th December in the Bristol Room between 1pm-4pm.

Community Trust Extra-Time Lead, Costa Chard said, "We know that many people are worried about energy bills and hoping to minimise putting the heating on this winter. Whether you are on your own, or with a friend, our hub is a friendly warm space with the opportunity to socialise and meet new people over a hot drink, or a warm cup of soup with activities readily available. The Community Trust are delighted to be joining the partnership with the Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust and I would very much like to thank Maria Perrett and her team who has been so supportive and without her this would not be at all possible!"

Community Activator for Lockleaze Community Trust, Maria Perrett said "We are delighted that Bristol Rovers Community Trust will be joining this partnership and offering a warm and welcome space on Tuesdays at the Memorial Stadium. We are both committed to working together to help residents stay warm and connected with their community this winter."
