Bristol Walk Fest is back this May (1–31 May), offering hundreds of walks throughout the month with something to enjoy every single day!
The festival officially kicks off on Thursday 1st May with an inspiring launch event that highlights the positive impact of walking on mental health, and Bristol Rovers Community Trust are delighted to be a part of the launch. The evening will feature a panel of local heroes sharing their stories and championing the power of movement for wellbeing.
Held at Arup on Victoria Street, the launch event will welcome:
Taylor Moore – Bristol Rovers defender & ambassador for the club’s 5k Your Way mental health initiative
Helen – Leader of Rebound with Rovers, a free football group supporting mental health
Claire Allen – Walked 4,000 miles around Great Britain, raising £25,000 for homelessness charities
Orla Hennessy – Founder of Girls Who Walk Bristol, tackling loneliness among young women
Festival Director Karen Lloyd said "Bristol Walk Fest is a great chance to discover something new about the city, explore a different area, or simply try walking for the first time. With free walks happening every day, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
Mental Health lead at Bristol Rovers Community Trust, Costa Chard said "We’re incredibly proud of the work Taylor and Helen have done in the mental health space through 5k Your Way and Rebound with Rovers. Their passion and dedication are making a real difference in people’s lives. It’s a pleasure to be part of Bristol Walk Fest this year, and we’re excited to champion the benefits of getting outside and connecting with others.”

Hey folks, just wanted to jump in on this topic. I’ve been exploring a few options lately, and I found sweepstakescasinos.co.uk be a solid place to start if you're curious about sweepstakes-style casinos in the UK. They’ve got detailed reviews, game info, and bonus breakdowns that actually help you choose where to play. I liked how easy it was to compare different platforms based on stuff like payment options and safety. Definitely worth checking out if you're into trying something new but still want to stay on the safe side. I’ve already found a couple of great sites there that I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise.
Hello everyone! I’m on the hunt for a reputable online casino that processes withdrawals quickly and reliably. Ideally, they’d offer a diverse game library and attractively generous sign-up bonuses. If you’ve played on any sites that fit the bill, please share your experiences. Your input would be incredibly helpful. Thanks a lot!
