Community Trust launch new mental health programme 'Rebound With Rovers'

Bristol Rovers Community Trust are delighted to announce the launch of our new mental-health programme, in partnership with the Gloucestershire FA and the University of West England.

After the highly successful mental health evening in partnership with Talk Club and supported by James Belshaw and Byron Anthony, we are thrilled to be starting two new sessions for males and females aged 16+, one in Southmead and another specifically for UWE Students which will be based at the Sports Facility within the Frenchay Campus. We're also excited to be announcing details of an under 16's session in the coming weeks.

Rebound With Rovers uses football as a therapeutic tool to support individual’s physical, mental, emotional and social health and wellbeing. The programme also integrates a 'Check-In' session to help participants improve their emotional resiliency, boost self-confidence and give them the opportunity to discuss any of their concerns or share their progress with our team of experts.

Programme lead and qualified mental health first-aider, Costa Chard said "Here at Bristol Rovers Community Trust we want to use the power of football to help those who might be struggling with issues such as confidence, low self-esteem and loneliness. We know that physical activity improves mental health, however there are further benefits that can help those who may be struggling, such as a sense of support and belonging which help people feel less isolated and more confident. We will ensure that every participant will be made to feel welcome, that they enjoy their time with us every week and we aim to support them on their journey."

Each 'Rebound With Rovers' session will start with an hour of football which will then be followed by an hour long 'Check-In' session.

CBD capsules is a good way to make health better. Likewise, I want to say that for a long time I couldn’t understand why it seems so problematically for me to improve healthcare, but then my close friend recommended me to use this Blessed CBD UK https://blessedcbd.co.uk/cbd-capsules/ that assisted me to have normal well-being. So open the link and use this product too!
