Last Friday, Bristol Rovers Community Trust hosted the local round of the annual Utilita EFL Girls Cup at Lockleaze Sports Centre. Over 100 girls took part in the competition that has now become a highlight in the Community Trust calendar.
The Utilita EFL Girls Cup is an annual school tournament for girls in year 7 & 8, where schools compete in a local, area and regional round to earn their spot in the grand final at Wembley Stadium.
Kings Oak Academy School were the overall winners of what was a superb and competitive tournament, and the girls will now represent Bristol Rovers in the area finals in January. Congratulations, girls!
