'Gas Girls' win Women's Football category at the 2023 Football Business Awards


Bristol Rovers Community Trust emerged victorious in the Women's Football category at the 2023 Football Business Awards last Friday, surpassing prominent contenders such as Chelsea, Southampton, and even EA Sports.


This remarkable achievement highlights the dedication, passion, and commitment of the Trust towards promoting women's football and developing a positive impact in their community.


Despite competing against renowned football clubs and influential industry giants, the judges were impressed with their relentless efforts to create a lasting impact set them apart from the rest.


Through various programs and initiatives, the 'Gas Girls' have actively worked towards promoting gender equality and empowering women in the realm of football. By encouraging female participation and providing opportunities for skill development, the 'Gas Girls' has played a pivotal role in breaking down barriers and stereotypes associated with women's football.
