Community Trust Announce Open Football Trial Dates




On Monday 26th October Bristol Rovers Community Trust will be hosting the first of their open trials for the BTEC Football Programme. These sessions will be held at Lockleaze Sports Centre with a girl’s session running from 10am-12pm and a boy’s session running from 1pm-3pm.

These free sessions are open for students in years 10,11 and 12 who have an interest in football, sport, and our education programme. The BTEC Level 3 in Sport, run by Bristol Rovers Community Trust is the perfect platform for any student who have aspirations, to start their career in the sports industry.

The course also allows students to train every day and represent Bristol Rovers in the EFL CEFA League, as well as studying at The Memorial Stadium throughout the week. These trials arranged by the UEFA qualified coaches, will give you the opportunity to experience our daily training sessions and is the perfect chance to show the team what you can do.

Students who have attended or registered for one of the ‘Open Evenings’ for the BTEC Programme, will automatically be invited for these sessions. These sessions are open to everyone in years 10,11 & 12 and If you know anyone else would be interested in taking part, they would be welcome to register and participate.

All sessions will follow the FA's COVID guidance for football to ensure the safety of all participants.
