Two of Bristol Rovers' young stars were our special guests on Thursday at our school holiday 'Fun Days' sessions.
The two Academy graduates came along to spend some time with the young participants and joining in with the fun.
Bristol Rovers Community Trust 'Fun Days' lead Will Dixon said, "It was great to have Jed and Ryan with us on Thursday afternoon. They acted like true young role models to all of our participants and they were more than happy to get involved the sessions, answer questions, pose for photos and sign autographs. It's great to see that the values of the club can resonate through the academy, the first-team and the community."
The Professional Footballers Association's Scott Walker, the Southern Region's Community Liaison Executive, was also in attendance and said: "It was a fantastic visit by two of the club's leading young players, Jed Ward and Ryan Jones, who both gave the children in attendance an engaging insight of life as a professional footballer and answered some testing questions!"
"We ensure that our members can positively influence and inspire the next generation, the PFA sees this as an important element of a player's career and values the great support that is provided by both the Football Club and the Bristol Rovers Community Trust."
Deep down, I'm rooting for Bristol Rovers to climb up to a higher division since they represent my beloved city so well! My fondness for the team began around the time I registered with the Melbet app at https://melbet-registration.com/ and started engaging in active betting. Initially, my focus was on Ligue 1 matches, but somehow, Bristol Rovers caught my attention more than others. This led me to track their games more closely and eventually turned me into a genuine soccer enthusiast!
