Planned Fitness Goals & Bristol Rovers Community Trust partner up to launch 'Gas To 5k'


Bristol Rovers Community Trust has partnered with Planned Fitness Goals, to launch Gas To 5k, an exciting new programme that aims to help Bristol Rovers supporters get ‘season fit’ and healthy in time for the new season in August.


Gas To 5K is a 10-week online programme designed to get participants from terrace to 5K, with the goal of completing their first parkrun on the first day of the first home game of the season. The programme will include a mix of running, walking, and strength exercises to help them build up their endurance and stamina. There will be video's demonstrating some good techniques and training options that should work for even the most novice of runner.


Gas To 5K is open to anyone who wants to get fit and healthy, It’s not just about running you can walk, jog or run the 5k – just complete the distance and have fun! Grant Rees, the founder of Planned Fitness Goals, has over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry and is excited to be working with Bristol Rovers Community Trust to launch Gas To 5K. He believes that the programme will not only help participants get fit and healthy but also create a sense of community and camaraderie among supporters. As Park run is international it will connect with our fanbase where ever they are in the UK or abroad

Gas To 5K will kick off on 29th May, giving participants plenty of time to get fit and healthy before the start of the new season in August and for the first parkrun. Participants will receive a training plan, which will include interactive video exercises, warm-up techniques and advice to help you prepare for the new season. All fans registered will also have access to a private facebook group where you can share your support with other fans and also get coach feedback.


The cost for this programme is £10 and includes exclusive access to the 10 week programme and each participant will receive Bristol Rovers Community Trust running top.
