Lucas Rogers has been named Bristol Rovers’ Community Captain in recognition of his contribution, enthusiasm and commitment to community engagement as part of the Premier League More Than A Game Campaign.

Lucas is one of 93 Community Captains nominated this season, celebrating individuals who have made a positive impact in their local communities.

He is among the 450+ young people and staff supported by Bristol Rovers Community Trust through @premierleague Kicks sessions at @lockleazesportscentre, made possible thanks to investment from the Premier League.

During this instalment of ‘More Than A Game’, which will be visible at all Premier League matches between 14 and 22 March, there will be a focus on the League’s flagship community programme, Premier League Kicks, as well as the Premier League Stadium Fund and Football Foundation.

Bristol Rovers Community Trust, CEO Adam Tutton, added:
"Premier League Kicks has had a hugely positive impact on young people across our community. The programme provides a safe and welcoming place for young people to play football, build confidence and form positive relationships. A huge credit must go to Louis Howard and the volunteer students who help keep the sessions fun, engaging and safe for everyone involved. Through the support of the Premier League, we’re able to reach hundreds of young people in areas and provide opportunities that go far beyond football. Initiatives like this truly show that the game is about much more than what happens on the pitch.”

Premier League Kicks

This season is the 20th anniversary of Premier League Kicks, which sees 93 Premier League, EFL and National League clubs delivering free weekly football and personal-development sessions.

Since the launch of the programme, which uses the power of football to inspire young people to reach their potential, more than 600,000 young people have participated at over 5,000 venues across England and Wales. Sessions take place in some of the most under-served communities, supporting those who need it most.

An independent evaluation of Premier League Kicks found that 93 per cent of alumni believe the programme helped them get into less trouble and avoid negative influence, with 91 per cent learning more about the impact of crime and anti-social behaviour, helping to change attitudes and choices.

Hello all, I came across this while browsing forums about online game sites in Australia, and someone mentioned how easy it was to install Mateslots application. I gave it a go out of curiosity, expecting the usual hassle, but it was surprisingly quick. What stood out to me was how fast everything loaded afterward. I remember thinking I’d just try a few spins, but I stayed longer than planned, especially after a small win that helped recover earlier losses. Not bad for a spontaneous decision.
