The 2026/27 school year is officially underway at Bristol Rovers College, with an exciting and action-packed first week welcoming students both new and familiar through the doors.

Results Day is an exciting milestone and the beginning of a new chapter for thousands of young people. We’ve been delighted to welcome students throughout the day who have successfully enrolled onto our BTEC courses, with programmes starting this September.

Today, Bristol Rovers Community College was delighted to welcome prospective post-16 students to our annual BTEC Taster Day, giving them the opportunity to experience life on our Community College programmes.

In addition, The fantastic work undertaken by the Club and Community Trust has also led to a number of other EFL Award nominations.

Lucas Rogers has been named Bristol Rovers’ Community Captain in recognition of his contribution, enthusiasm and commitment to community engagement as part of the Premier League More Than A Game Campaign.

Over the next week (12th–22nd March 2026), we will be celebrating and showcasing the impact of our Premier League-funded community programmes throughout the 2025/26 season so far. This includes initiatives such as Premier League Kicks, Premier League Primary Stars, and the Premier League Players Pilot Project.

After a record number of entries this year, we are thrilled to announce that Bristol Rovers Community Trust has been named a finalist at the 2026 Football Business Awards.

To mark World Book Day 2026® (Thursday 5 March), the Premier League will be giving away more than 120,000 free books to children across England and Wales, through its Premier League Primary Stars programme.

Bristol Rovers Community Trust, in collaboration with the Bristol Rovers Football Club, North Bristol NHS Trust (part of Bristol NHS Group), and the Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon & Gloucestershire (SWAG) Cancer Alliance, will host a free Prostate Cancer Awareness Information Evening, and all members of the local community are welcome to attend for free.

We’re delighted to share that Watermore Primary School finished an incredible third place in their regional event and have successfully qualified for Finals Day - a fantastic achievement and one the whole club and community trust is immensely proud of!

Delivered in partnership with Lockleaze Sports Centre (LSC), St Mary’s & St James Church, and The Vench, Set Piece uses the power of sport, mentoring, and wellbeing support to help local children aged 8–11 build confidence, develop positive decision-making skills, and stay safe in their communities.

In Collaboration with PMAC: Mental Health & Wellbeing Training we explore how Local Sport brings people together, lifts mood, and quietly supports mental Health - one session, one team, one shared win at a time.
