Everyone at Bristol Rovers Community Trust would like to send their condolences to the family and friends of lifelong Gas Head, George Blackburn who recently passed away.
George could be found on the terraces at Eastville, Twerton Park and The Mem where for the past few years he had his favoured seat in the West Stand.
As keen runner and in light of George's lifetime dedication to sport, in particular to supporting youngsters and believing in giving them the opportunity to compete in sport, his family an friends created a 'Just Giving' fundraising page where floral donations and condolence messages could be made.
We were deeply honoured to learn that Bristol Rovers Community Trust was George' charity of choice, where the fund raising page and donations totalled to an amazing £635 plus gift aid.
The whole team would like to thank everyone for their incredibly kind donations and an enormous thank you to George who will always be a treasured member of the Gas Family!
