Bristol Rovers Community Trust is seeking to employ a dynamic individual who will deliver on our primary school sport and PE programmes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality delivery of our primary school sport and PE provision, as well as other community programmes. The successful candidate will need to be able to deliver a range of PE lessons and curriculum based classroom learning to young people, who are of varying ability, predominately in KS2. Our Premier League Primary Stars programme and the EFL Move and Learn project will be key areas of responsibly of the successful candidate. The role will involve forming partnerships with local schools and other key stakeholders with the aim of increasing the physical ability, health and wellbeing of participants through education & participation.
We are seeking someone who is knowledgeable and passionate about the workings of charities, football and sport. They will need to excel in the areas of school PE and classroom delivery and be able to engage with a wide range of people. Experience of mentoring and upskilling others, including colleagues and school teachers in PE delivery will be highly desirable in this role.

Job Title: School Sport Community Coach
Report to: CEO of the Trust, Community Manager
Main Responsibilities: Delivery of primary school sport and PE
Location: Based at The Memorial Stadium with additional travel to various other locations in Bristol and South Gloucestershire
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week. The role requires flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required
Contract: Full time starting ASAP: Initially a 1 year contract with the view to make the position permanent
Main Job Purpose: To teach primary PE and school sport and deliver classroom based education for children of all abilities in a primary school setting.
Remuneration: Salary dependant on experience, £17,000-£21,000 per annum
