After an incredible 16 years of dedication, passion, and hard work, Matt Bennett, Community Trust Operations Manager, will be leaving the Trust to begin a new chapter in his career.
While we are deeply sad to see Matt go, we are equally proud of everything he has achieved and the lasting impact he leaves behind.
During his time with the Trust, Matt has played a vital role in shaping the organisation into what it is today - a thriving charity that now engages with more than 3,000 people across the Bristol community. His leadership, professionalism, and commitment to supporting others have left a lasting legacy, particularly through the development of staff he has mentored and guided along the way.
Colleagues such as Will Dixon and Nathan Hallett-Young are just two examples of individuals who have benefited from Matt’s support and leadership, progressing within the Trust and continuing the culture of growth and opportunity that he helped to build.
Adam Tutton, CEO of Bristol Rovers Community Trust, shared his thoughts on Matt’s departure:
“Today sadly marks the end of an era. I have known Matt for 16 years, first working alongside him when he was Assistant Academy Manager and I was Head of Education at Bristol Rovers. After Matt took time out to travel, I’ll never forget receiving a call from him at the top of Machu Picchu telling me he was returning to the UK and looking for work. I told him I had the perfect role for him – Community Manager – and what a decision that turned out to be.
Over the past nine years, Matt has been instrumental in the success and growth of our charity, helping us to achieve numerous awards and recognition along the way. He has mentored and inspired so many members of staff, passing on his knowledge and passion. His legacy is truly woven into the ongoing success of Bristol Rovers Community Trust. Matt has been more than a work colleague – he’s a true friend. While I am incredibly sad to see him move on, I am immensely proud of what he has achieved and deeply grateful for the impact he has had on the Trust and the communities we serve.”
Reflecting on his time at the Trust, Matt Bennett added:
“It’s been a fantastic pleasure to work alongside you all over the time I’ve known you. Thank you for the hard work, support, and laughter we’ve shared together. I wish you all the very best for the future – good luck.”
Matt’s passion, energy, and kindness have been at the heart of Bristol Rovers Community Trust for over a decade and a half. His influence will continue to be felt through the people and projects he helped to build.
We wish Matt every success in his next adventure and thank him for everything he’s done for the Trust, the club, and the wider Bristol community. 💙🤍
Finding dnp capstone project help online was the best academic decision I’ve made. The team assigned to me had experience with DNP-level research, and they made sure my paper aligned with real-world nursing practice. They took care of the data analysis and literature review, leaving me free to focus on my clinical hours. Excellent service for advanced nursing students.
