We are incredibly proud to announce that Bristol Rovers have been recognised for their outstanding off-the-pitch efforts of both Bristol Rovers Community Trust and the football club.

This year, we are incredibly proud to celebrate three outstanding achievements. Not only have we been named EFL Sky Bet League Two Community Club of the Season, and have also been shortlisted for the Overall Community Club of the Season award. In addition, The fantastic work undertaken by the Club and Community Trust has also led to a number of other EFL Award nominations.

The 2–0 victory over Accrington Stanley on Saturday may have marked the final whistle of The John Green Campaign, but in truth, it feels far more like the beginning of something lasting.

Last night over 100 people attended The Memorial Stadium to receive information and ask questions at a Prostate Cancer Awareness Evening, hosted as part of The John Green Campaign. 

Bristol Rovers Community Trust, in collaboration with the Bristol Rovers Football Club, North Bristol NHS Trust (part of Bristol NHS Group), and the Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon & Gloucestershire (SWAG) Cancer Alliance, will host a free Prostate Cancer Awareness Information Evening, and all members of the local community are welcome to attend for free.

Around 70 students from the Bristol Rovers Community Trust College took part in the session, which was delivered by Resuscitation Practitioners from both NHS Trusts. The training focused on the importance of early intervention during cardiac emergencies, teaching students how to perform CPR and how to use a defibrillator - a device that can restart the heart during sudden cardiac arrest.
