Following the huge success of the first community walk last year, The 3 Stadiums Walk, we are thrilled to share the details for this year’s walk with you!
For anyone who took part in the last walk, you will know it was a long but fun 14 miles, with plenty of laughter, encouragement, and support, with new friends made along the way.
This year we want to make the event inclusive for more people, young and old alike as well as your 4-legged friends. The 4.8-mile route on Sunday 15th October will see us starting at 12pm at the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge, passing the Clifton Observatory, making our way over the beautiful downs, along Golden Hill and finishing at the Memorial Stadium where there will be a bar, hot food and live music as well as the medal presentation.
This year we are asking for a £5 registration fee*, as some will know, several people who signed up last year didn’t make the walk and left us and the Tote end old boys out of pocket having covered the cost of medals, we are hoping the registration fee will prevent this happening again. The fee will also cover the cot of hot food for everyone once they finish.
All sponsorship that you raised will go to the Community Trust to help evolve and grow existing projects, as well as bring new ideas and initiatives to life.
Once you have registered you will be sent an email with details of how to set up a Just Giving page linked to this event.
We want to again, express our huge thanks to the Tote End Old Boys for their continued support and dedication to helping the Community Trust.
*please note only those over 12 will need to pay the £5 registration fee, children under 12 can be added to a registration and will still get hot food.
